PAMPANGA PPO’S NEW PD Pampanga PPO – The Change of Command at Pampanga PPO was held on February 1, 2011 at the Bale Katimawan (Freedom Hall) of the Provincial Office in City of San Fernando, Pampanga. PSSUPT EDGARDO GONZALES TINIO, a member of PMA Class ’85 SANDIWA is the Regional Officer of the Highway Patrol Group 3 before replacing the incumbent Provincial Director, PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO, who is a member of PMA Class ’83 MATIKAS. The Turn-over Ceremony was officiated by PCSUPT ALAN LA MADRID PURISIMA, Regional Director of PRO 3 and was witnessed by the different Chiefs of Police of Pampanga, guests and media practitioners. During the delivery of his message, PCSUPT PURISIMA remarked that “I need not choose between the two officers, but if I have to, the choice will not be too difficult to make. For whoever the choice is, between these two good men, will certainly benefit the good of the organization.” He ended his speech by congratulating PSSUPT RETIRADO for a job well done in developing not only Pampanga PPO but its personnel in becoming better law enforcers; while he encouraged and challenged the new Provincial Director. WANTED PERSONS, ARRESTED Pampanga PPO – The unwavering efforts of the Pampanga PNP personnel under the overall supervision of PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO to arrest criminals and put them behind bars resulted to the arrest of five (5) wanted persons in the province. On January 24, 2011, elements of San Fernando CPS conducted a manhunt operation at Brgy San Pedro, Cutud, City of San Fernando, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of Jay GALANG y Pingul by Virtue of Warrant Arrest issued by Hon Adelaida Ala-Medina for Criminal Case Nr 12042 FOR Violation of RA 9262 otherwise known as the “Anti-Violence Against their Women and their Children Act”. On same date, a Manhunt operation was also conducted by San Fdo CPS in Brgy San Nicolas of said city which led to the arrest of one of the top ten most wanted personalities in the City of San Fernando identified as Jun MIRANDA y Dizon by Virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued Hon Judge Divina Luz P Aquino-Simbulan for Criminal Case Nr 17064 for Robbery. Likewise, a Manhunt Operation was launched by elements of Candaba MPS last January 25, 2011 at Brgy Sto Rosario, Candaba, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of the Jeffery SADIE by Virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon Judge Divina Luz P Aquino-Simbulan for Criminal Case Nr 14892 for the Crime of Robbery with force upon things. Similarly, also on January 25, 2011, elements of Macabebe MPS conducted a manhunt operation in Brgy San Gabriel, Macabebe, Pampanga which led to the arrest of Monalyn TIGLAO y Tiglao by Virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon Judge Lucina Alpez-Dayaon for Criminal Case No 10-4866 for the Qualified Theft. Pampanga PPO will carry on its mandated tasks to enforce the law and place lawless elements behind bars.

GET-AWAY VEHICLES, SEIZED Pampanga PPO – In another follow-up operation launched by Task Group “Lozano”, joint elements of Pampanga Intelligence and Investigation Sections, Pampanga PPSC, San Fdo City Police Station, RID 3 operatives, HPG 3 and SOCO team form RCLO3, Camp Olivas, CSFP under the overall supervision of PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO implemented a Search Warrant issued by Hon Judge Ismael P Casabar of RTC Branch 31, Guimba, Nueva Ecija at the residence of one Ranner Liwanag @ Pogs/Pogi in # 459, Purok 7, Brgy Panipuan, CSFP. Subject of said search warrant are vehicles reported used in a multiple murder case that transpired last Augut 17, 2010 at Brgy Lagundi, Mexico, Pampanga. All recovered items were turned-over to the Regional Highway Patrol Group 3, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

“90 PNP PERSONNEL, PROMOTED ”
During the Mass Pinning of Rank, PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO, Acting Provincial Director said to the newly promoted PNP personnel that they were promoted because they are qualified and that they deserved to be in their position. He further remarked that Rank not only has its privileges but also has its responsibilities and that their promotion may serve as driving force that will motivate and inspire them more to contribute in the overall accomplishment of the PNP’s mission.

“CARNAPPED VEHICLES, RECOVERED” Pampanga PPO – In an effort to address Carnapping in Pampanga and a follow-up on the operations launched by the Task Group “Lozano”, the simultaneous implementation of Search Warrant under the over-all supervision of PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO, Acting Provincial Director of Pampanga PPO was conducted on January 24, 2011 in the municipalities of Mabalacat and Mexico, Pampanga which resulted in the confiscation of the several items. At the residence of Jose Randolph ENRIQUEZ in Jay St., Green Meadow Phase 2, Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga were Three (3) carnapped vehicles ( 1 Mitsubishi Montero Sports, 1 Hyundai Santa Fe and 1 Honda VTEC); Fifteen (15) engines; Thirty five (35) tires with mugs; Four (4) tires; Two (2) mugs; One (1) transmission; One (1) GS Battery and One (1) crocodile jack. Meanwhile, at the apartment rented by one Jayson NAKPIL in B-7 L-7, Villa De San Agustin, Sitio Dalisdis, San Pedro-Camuning, Mexico, Pampanga the following were recovered: One (1) Toyota Elf with markings AARS Towing, assorted spare parts and One (1) Mitsubishi Grandis Wagon. Moreover, PSSUPT RETIRADO said that series of operations will be launched in the next coming days to eradicate carnapping in the province.

“ZERO CASUALTY FOR PAMPANGA” Pampanga PPO – Through the strict implementation of the IMPLAN IWAS PAPUTOK of Pampanga Police Provincial Police Office, PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO, Acting Provincial Director gladly announced that the recent celebration of the Yuletide Season was generally peaceful. Although there were seventy five (75) reported incidents of firecracker incidents, all were considered minor and no casualty was reported. Although there was a sole reported incident of stray bullet in the town of Masantol, elements of Masantol MPS is continuously conducting investigation on said case. Thirteen (13) out of the twenty one (21) City/Municipalities have reported incidents of firecracker injuries, wherein Arayat incurred seventeen (17) incidents followed by City of San Fernando with sixteen (16) reported incidents.

“NO FIRING OF GUNS FOR PAMPANGA PNP” Pampanga PPO – The Pampanga Police Provincial Police Office under the leadership of PSSUPT PETRONIO A RETIRADO conducted its simultaneous taping of gun muzzles today in all 21 municipal/ city police stations in observance with the “no firing of guns” policy of the Philippine National Police during the yuletide season. The muzzle taping of firearms issued to policemen is an annual activity of the PNP, to lessen, if not totally stop, gun-related injuries on New Year’s Eve celebration and to pre-empt policemen from firing indiscriminately during the holidays. PSSUPT RETIRADO said that one of the purposes of taping the muzzles of the police guns is for them to convince the public that Pampanga PNP do really mean business in implementing its campaign on illegal firecrackers and pyrotechnics. Also, this activity will help to identify those gun owners who may fire indiscriminately during Christmas or New Year revelries. On January 3 of next year, there will be a simultaneous removal of the sealed tapes of said gun muzzles. |
